description of the great pyramid :

the great pyramid covers an area of 13 acres the amount of blocks cut from the quarries of th plateu itself the wight of the blocks vary from 1ton ablock at the top to 8 tons by the base. the pyramid is 146 meters in high while the lenght of its base is 230meters .the name of the pyramid is 3ht hufw .

design of the great pyramid :

we have two entrances in the northern side of the pyramid the main entrance in the north about 16 meters1 in high from the earth. under that main entrance there is hole which opened in the Islamic period at mamon era from these entrance we can reach asloping passage about 103meter in length in its end we find ahorizontal passage about 8 meter in length before reaching the first burial chamber and it was engraved in the rock under the earth .
seconded chamber after 18 meters of the entrance we can find ahole in the ceiling leads to an ascending passage about 37.7 meter in length in its end we find ahorizontal passage about 38.1meter lead to the seconed burial chamber it named mistaknly as queen " chamber " it have acorbol ceiling in shape .
third chamber .
again they changed the plane to keep the body and his things away from the thieves and made the big passage about 45.9meter in length and 8.4meter in the end of these passage we find a narrow passage lead to the burial chamer of the king in western side of this chamber we can see the mummy box of the king on the top of this room there are five rooms have been built to reduce the pressure .

vally temple.

its flooring was of the black diorite blocks cut from the quarries of lake Quaroon in Fayoum some walls of this temple had some inscriptions

the so-called solar boats :

on the southern side of the great pyramid we can visit the boat of khufu in its musuem we can also find some big holes which stored a larg ships made from wood which would be under the kings control when he under take the day and the night journeys with the son god Re in crossing lakes and rivers of the seconded life. the length of the boat now is 14and1/2 meter while the high of its front is
5meter and 7meter of its rear parts when the Egyptologists find this ship it was on a good state of preservation and it had all things live oars, ropes, and special shrine for the king in a good state
mistakenly this boats are usually called solar boat we don’t have any evidence confirm this opinion.

senfru : he was the first king in the 4 dynsty he is the first king who built the true pyramid in Dahshur he ruled about 24 years the Egyptian loved him and referd to him as agood king .
Hetep Heris : she was the wife of the king senfru and the mother of the king khufu she have collection of gold and jewelry and it is shown now in the egyption musuem .
hnm : he was agod in the old egypt the god of the first province
ma`mon : he was khalifa from the islamic period he ruled about 20 years .
